During this journey the visitor will have the opportunity to wander in the Agorà, where it is possible to look at our sun-powered machines responsible for the drying of the figs in line with the green economy model adhering with the company’s philosophy.

The tasting experience will take place inside of our laboratory, from which you can admire the beautiful landscape typical of the Cilento national park.

What does the tasting experience involve?

Santomiele’s welcome sun-dried figs (Cultivar Dottato) with toasted almonds and fresh citrus peels;

Fig jam with pears and vanilla bourbon paired with cheeses from Paestum;

Fig Carpaccio with tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil;

Fresh figs beautifully wrapped with thin slices of local cured meats;

Croutons with vegetables typical of the Mediterranean diet;

Paestum buffalo ricotta mousse with Giffoni hazelnuts crumble and fresh citrus peels, garnished with Santomiele fig molasses;

Scugnizzi, fragrant fig pralines with cocoa and cinnamon;

Fichi fagottino, figs with almonds dipped in a fragrant rum liqueur;

Il Signorino, dried fruit sugar-free brittle with our fine fig molasses;

Melaco, crunchy biscuits with Salt of Sicily and delicate aromatic spices.

*You will be able to choose from a selection of national and international wines which will pair with Sanotmiele’s cults dishes, which enhance the tradition of the Mediterranean diet, innovating it.
