Our figs belong to the prized ‘’Dottato’’ cultivar, widespread in the small area between the towns of Castellabate, Agropoli and Prignano Cilento within the Cilento National Park.
The Terroir of Santomiele figs is a place with unique geographical and environmental characteristics of rare beauty, where the figs grow in a hilly environment on the rock formation called “flysch”, made up of clay and sandstone, at an average altitude of 100-400 meters above sea level. The warm wind coming from the sea keeps the habitat dry and affects positively the quality of the figs.
