In the name Partenope, we sought to capture a soul: ancient, mysterious, with a charm that reveals itself beyond the surface. Like the Siren who gave Neapolis its name, this fruit evokes a silent song, a beauty suspended between myth and nature.

Artisanal Craftsmanship

  • Our fichi mondi, a traditional speciality of Prignano Cilento (Salerno), come from a small, distinctive area where summer sunshine and dry winds work in harmony with the hills to produce extraordinary fruit.
  • Each fig is harvested at the perfect stage of ripeness, then peeled by hand – an ancient gesture that calls for care, sensitivity and time.
  • The drying process is far from conventional: the peeled fruits are laid outdoors and turned six times a day, exposed to the sun and wind until they develop their distinctive pearl-white colour, making them unique in the world.
  • We take no shortcuts and make no compromises. The entire process is carried out by hand, in honour of a fruit that speaks of place, time and dedication.

Elegance

The result is a fico mondo, exceptionally white, half-coated in fine 70% dark chocolate, made from cocoa mass and enhanced with delicate notes of orange and cinnamon. A perfect complement that highlights the fig’s lightness and the chocolate’s depth.
